HORRIBLE - My package - which should have arrived in 3 days from florida to new york - is being held at this facility for 5 days now!!

My package is been hold and the track reads that is in the facility ready for delivery more than three weeks ago. Bad administration, fire everybody!!

I to ordered from Miami said it would deliver the 9th of January 2015 still hasn't arrived here but a package from China already arrived. What a joke this place is.

Same issue. I bought something from someone in Miami and now it's been stuck there. I was supposed to get this yesterday (jan 9th). I sent an email to USPS complaining and linking this site. This place needs to be shut down.

please help to find 9114 9012 3080 3565 5571 01 was to be del'd 3rd of January ....the envelope contains paper for closing a deal on the 7th of jan ....post office please Help this is very very very important !!!!

where is my package? It has left this location since 5th Jan 2015 and it is still in transit to Miami. When will I get it?

It would appear that morons work in Opa Locka. I am having the same issue as the folks commenting below me. I've been tracking a package I bought on eBay, and it was sent to Opa Locka, then up to Ft Lauderdale, back to Opa Locka, and now it is on its way to Philly. I called USPS, and I was told it will go from Philly back down to me in Miami. I can only imagine how mangled the package will be after being sent up and down the East coast. Get it together Opa Locka and fire whomever is not doing his/her job correctly!!

Same thing happened to me my package's last status was at this facility, it said it departed to destination. since 5th Jan 2015 it was tracked at opa and its still showing the same ? where the hell is my package. very poor service .

What is going on?

I ordered an item through amazon, usps tracking, they said my package arrived at this location on the 24th of dec, the 26th it said to have departed, however, every day since then the time and the date of when it has departed has changed. usps said my package was supposed to arrive on the 27th but it's the 1st of January and I still don't have the item. This really shouldn't be taking this long for it to arrive. I've contacted the amazon seller hopefully I can get my money back or something. This place is like a black hole. Why has no one done anything?

I mailed a package from Foristell, Missouri on 24DEC14 for a destination in Montgomery, TX. It was accepted at my local P.O. and forwarded to the sorting facility in Hazelwood, MO - normal so far! It was scanned out of Hazelwood on the 24th. Then the package vanished. Not a single idea where it was. On the 28th of Dec,., tracking showed it received and scanned in in OPA LOCKA, FL.! What the hell!! St. Louis to Houston, by way of Miami?? At any rate, the package was scanned out of OPA LOCKA at 10:09 A.M. in route to it's destination. With frightening similarity to the other reviews, my package is no where to me found! The pony express only took 3 days to go from St. Joseph, MO. to San Francisco, CA. and the current postal system has taken 8 days with no resolution in sight. I sent a package to Buenos Aires, Argentina in the summer that only took 4 days to get there. Like some of the other writers, it's strictly FedEx or UPS from now on!

I wish I would have read these reviews before I purchased anything from an Etsy seller in this part of FL because I will NEVER do this again! Tracking says that my package left this USPS facility on Dec. 18th with no further updates. I have no idea where it is or if there is even a GLIMMER of hope that my mother-in-law's Christmas present will make it by Christmas Eve. I AGREE- This place is a BLACK HOLE and I hope to never have to deal with them again!!!!!!!!!!!! 0 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the black hole of the USPS... if you are unlucky enough to have a package go through this incompetent facility you can just kiss it goodbye. I paid extra and shipped early and still I have no hope of my Christmas present arriving on time. So disturbing and frustrating. Why is this allowed?

I sent an envelope priority mail my package has been stuck since 12/18 leaving this facility . I called the main USPS number and made a claim but it does not seem like anyone knows where my package is at this point. Very disappointed I will never use them again I rather use UPS or fedex.

I made an account just to rate this place. I ordered something on Dec 6th. It reached this post office on Dec 11th and it still appears to be here. I also have a 2 day priority package that's been here since Dec 16th. I'll be making sure that anything I order going forward never has to go through this post office again.

I have never seen anything like this place , I had a package "in transit" for ten days just sitting there. Don't bother to try to call them because you will not get through , I had to go to the main post office number just to see if they could help. No I will not be wearing my new sweater for Christmas.

Yo I live like 40 min away and this place still hasn't Delivered my package? It's been at this location for the past week and still can't get this package. Overstand its the holiday season but yo I live 40 min away from this facility. It shouldn't take your employees a whole week to delIver this package. On top of that I paid for shipping? Yo wtf. I call and all I get is a busy signal. Lucy someone has some splainin to do!!!!!

I have an item that was scheduled for delivery yesterday and it is still in transit. Can you tell me why it was not delivered on time. There have been no more updates on where it is and it is already over due by a day. Really.... Florida to NJ is only a 2 hour flight.

The USPS tracking # stated my package was supposed to be delivered yesterday in New Jersey. It has been stuck at the Opa Locks, FL postal facility for 4 days. Does anyone have a working phone number to this place?

I have some vehement opinions on this post office. Let me start by saying, I gave this one star simply because I had no other choice. This post office deserves wrath from hell. Their phone line does not work. I ordered a package on November 29th and it has yet to arrive. I would not doubt that their faulty phone line is intentional in order to avoid angry calls from customers like ME. I have tracked my order and find that my package has been sitting beautifully in the OPA LOCKA POST OFFICE for 5 days now. I find it repulsive that a system can be so pathetically lazy. I need this item for a gift, yet the OPA LOCKA POST OFFICE, can't care less. I have never been a fan of the post office but I finally can say that I will NEVER use the post office again. I paid for 3-5 day shipping, it has been almost 10 days, all because of the OPA LOCKA POST OFFICE. Shut this place down, its embarrassing to America.

from ready all these comments i realize that no one has not gotten any respond from these people . cus my packages is also in this predicament so i dont know who should i talk to concerning my packages cus this is real crap
