4V Animal Clinic

I got my Doberman's ears cropped here after hearing multiple good reviews about them. I liked their process for ear cropping and how it would help more with the healing process right away rather than later. However, after they taped and posted his ears the first time, they just set us free to do the rest on our own even though we haven't done that before. I was very shocked, because all other places I know of and have talked to does the aftercare as well to make sure they heal and stand propeerly. After talking to multiple other vets and owners, they were very concerned as to why they didn't offer aftercare when it should have been given. Also when he got an ear infection after his tape and posting they wanted to charge me for the antibiotics and the vet visit, which also should have been covered. Not going back! The good reviews don't help if they aren't the ones doing the aftercare. Yeah, they did a beautiful crop, but it's my, unexpirienced job, to make sure they do not fail and finish the job they started but would not finish. Not worth $150!

They don't know the difference between Clostridium Perfringens C & D Antitoxin (for Enterotoxemia) and Tetanus Antitoxin. I asked for the C&D antitoxin and was VERY specific (spelled it out, really *slow like*) as to what I needed and why. I even told her that everyone else I called confused it with tetanus antitoxin, which is NOT what I needed. My husband drove 45 minutes there to pick it up, as it was waiting. Guess what it was. Tetanus antitoxin. Then she had the nerve to get snotty with me on the phone, telling me that she told me that is was tetanus antitoxin. That's 2 hours and 6 gallons of gas wasted on someone that can't pay attention, and an animals life was on the line. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I took my Boston Terrier out there to have her spayed and they did an excellent job I was very happy!!
