I'm with the other reviewers. This place needs zero stars. I cringe when I see my tracking say my packages are at this facility. I usually can expect them to be delayed. Some are delayed by a week or two. I don't understand how they have so many problems there. They need to do something and get themselves organized.

If a "0" rating was possible, that's what they really deserve. My birthday present was supposed to arrive on August 21st. It was "delayed" until the 22nd and still hasn't arrived! They can't find it, but yet it isn't "Lost". ???? I've called my local post office 5 times and they created a case#. They forwarded a "Search request" at least twice and still nothing. This sort facility needs new management. HORRIBLE

If I could give less than one star, I would. I ordered sneakers for my little one for school on august 15th, I receive email updates about all my deliveries. August 19th was my delivery date. It is now almost 3 weeks and my package that has been paid for hasnt arrived. Ive called numerous times to only get a voice mail. I've left numerous messages for Allen Park USPS and the distribution center with my contact info and tracking #. Maybe someone is stealing packages.... seems like im not the only one who hasnt received their items and they get lost in Allen Park, MI. Get it together MI. Will never order from this place again if I have to have my items sent to me thru MI.

I would rate this place negative if it were possible. I have a package that was due to arrive in Belding, MI two days ago. According to the tracking information it arrived in Allen Park on the 19th at 1 pm. Can anyone explain to me how it takes 3 days for a package to depart the facility after it arrives there because I'm stumped. Is it just typical government bureaucracy or do they hire nothing but incompetent morons there? Either way, I hope I can find a way to avoid anything coming through this facility in the future

I've never been there, but a lot of my mail, like that of other Lake Erie Islanders in Ohio, goes through that facility. And something is BADLY wrong there. I ordered some prescription refills, with tracking, on July 29 and they were delivered today, Aug. 17. They went through Allen Park three times, being sent on to random other cities in other states. Other islanders on several of the islands here have similar mail problems with Allen Park all the time.

Had a package sent from Cincinnati and went here and has been sitting or checked in last at this location. Delivery date supposed to be 8/3/2015!!! Where the hell is my package!!!

I ordered a book online and it arrived at this facility on July 17. It has been sitting there ever since and no update has been available. Where the heck is my package?

If someone here is not stealing packages, I'd be shocked. Ordered a set of 50 states books from one seller; package never arrived. Filed a complaint, after months, someone called to have me file for "recovery"- a dead zone in Atlanta where damaged packages go. Ordered the SAME 50 stated package from another seller and had it insured. Unbelievably, it too went "missing". What good is a tracking number if the package falls off the face of the earth? Seems to me, someone recognizes the profitability of reselling books- I thought that theft of the mail was a pretty serious crime; apparently not- or there would not be so many that disappear. Was told that there were several packages that departed along with mine on the same truck- all are missing. Who the heck is in charge that is not doing their job? It is infuriating that our tax dollars pay for this pathetic service. Will avoid the post office at all costs- no accountability.

I order lots of parts for bikes and everything has to go through this branch. 3 out of 5 packages are delayed for days and or weeks, 1 out of 20-30 lost. that is just horrible. wish there was another branch that us northern Michigan folks could have our mail routed from. It's hurting business. I'd be better off buying 2 of each thing I needed which is counter productive, but at least maybe one would get through, and I could finish a bike on time.

Worst USPS branch/hub there is! Every time my package arrives at Allen Park, MI it gets delayed and travels in the wrong direction! It can also sit there for days. I have friends and family who have called and complained.

The USPS sucks my package is sitting in the Allenpark, MI usps facility for two weeks still there is not update on it. Please Please send out our packages.

Package going from TN to OH somehow went to CA and ended up at this joke of a facility. Package has been sent into Detroit and back to this place where its still sitting. It's no wonder the mail service is in trouble when they provide service like this. Everything that go's through this place ends up being delayed for days.

Ordered package from California with delivery to Columbus ohio. Columbus received it and for some reason it got out to this facility where it has sat for 5 days with daily updates of "Package processed by Post Office", whatever that means. I have low expectations for the speediness of the post office in general (after all, why did Columbus which was the destination send it off to this black hole in the first place?)...But this facility is absolutely ridiculous. Day 2 it should have been discovered that it was misrouted there, but instead it sits.

I had a package ship out from Texas on 6/22 at 7:45am. It got to this location in 8 days and has been sitting there for 2 weeks now, with no update. Whenever I call no one answers or returns my messages. I am not sure what to do from here, but I am very angry to say the least! And reading all these reviews it sounds like something needs to be done about this "business"!!!!

Tracking # VJ319112510US. I sent a package to Calphalon in Ohio, out of Florida on June 9th. The last place on the tracking information is this sorting facility. It shows the package arrived On June 14 and departed for delivery on the same day. It was supposed to arrive at its destination by the 16th. My large, heavy box surely was not misplaced. It contains over $1000 worth of pots and pans that were being sent to be reviewed by the warranty department. When I called to check the status 1 month later.. Calphalon had never received the package. The Ohio USPS office said they also had not received the package. I shipped it over a month ago and it has vanished into thin air. This sorting facility in Michigan is the last known facilty to possess it. They are the only ones not responding to inquiries from the Ohio office, and are not answering the phone number that is listed for their facility. Beware of this place. If you did not receive your package from here, I am guessing it is because of employee theft after reading 70 reviews here of the same problem.. I will be reporting this location. Luckily I had insured it for $1000, so hopefully I will get at least get SOME of my money back...

I've had three packages go from the "Black Hole" in Allen Park to the wrong post office in the past six months. This is got to be the worst facility in the entire postal system. They are so ate up. I wish I could rate them at -5 stars.

This facility is making me angry. Crappy customer service and my pakage has departed 3 times! I spent a hefty penny on my items and shipping and still don't have my items. Usps needs to get it together, i wont be ordering anymore packages.

The USPS needs to shut this facility down. It's clearly corrupt and incompetent at best. My latest experience with these idiots had my item shipped from KY to MI, then from MI to TX, then back to MI, who knows if I'll ever see it.
