North Yarmouth Academy is an independent, college preparatory, coeducational day school that serves students in grades six through 12. The school operates a foreign language department that conducts classes in French, Spanish and Latin for students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes English, fine arts, history, math, science and technology. In addition, it conducts classes in modern and classical languages. The school also offers a variety of advanced placement courses. North Yarmouth Academy operates an arts department that conducts classes in drawing, painting, photography, vocal music, drama and clay modeling. It operates an athletic department that offers a variety of sporting activities, such as basketball, baseball, volleyball, ice hockey, indoor track and cross country.
