Frank's Restaurant & Pizzeria

OK: thin crust, small curly pepperonis, light on the sauce...perfect! Excellent price for a pepperoni pizza, too. They also have very good pasta. The service: Definitely slow, not especially friendly, there's no denying it. Give yourself plenty of time. It's a lot cleaner since they don't allow smoking anymore. I've never used the bathroom there, so I don't know about that. Yes, the lady at the register is slow, really slow, and she will wait on take-out's before dine-ins. Bring cash, it's the only way you can pay. As far as parking goes, if you want to be in Downtown Wyandotte, you're going to have to find a spot on the street or walk from the nearest public parking area. That's the trade off of going to a small town district, just like you would have to do in South Haven, Holland, etc. Bottom line, if you want this incredible pizza, you'll deal with the rest of it.

there was about 10-12 empty tables all were dirty

finally got a seat next to many smokers. Place was small and dirty. Wait staff was very slow and not friendly. Food came sausage was horrible and hard, sent it back. Pizza was ok, no sauce, very skimpy hard n burnt n greasy. Gnocci was very good. Lady at register was very slow and rude. Would not go back in there to eat but would maybe get gnocci for carry ou.t

The food is good, but please dine in. I stood for 45 minutes waiting for a pizza that I called ahead for. I was eventually told that they had no such order. Throughout my wait I inquired about my order several times as other customers came and left with their food. I was assured each time that my order was on the way. And yes, I called the right restaurant. Once I realized there was no pizza waiting for me, I expressed my annoyance and concern to staff. I was met with indiference and overheard an unkind remark about me from a young man who worked in the kitchen. As I was leaving they asked if I would like to place an order.



This experience would have been less uncomfortable if their concern seemed more genuine. The unkind remark was not necessary. I expressed my concern very reasonably.
