Westchester County Department of Human Resources, located in White Plains, N.Y., recruits, trains and supports the work force of Westchester County in New York. It provides employment services, including benefits administration and training. It also administers the provisions of the New York State Civil Service Law for local civil divisions. The department offers a list of job openings each week. It also offers the Westchester County Summer Employment Program that provides job opportunities in various departments and facilities. The positions include parks and pool attendants, lifeguards, cashiers, ride operators, laborers and office workers.
