Pediatric Care
Rachael graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014 with a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science. She then obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas in 2016. She began her career in pediatrics at Children’s Health hospital in Dallas working primarily in the hospital-based outpatient clinic with a focus on orthopedic and neurological-developmental patients. She also has experience with a variety of complex populations, including, but not limited to, Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain, Concussion, Hypermobility, Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome, Dizziness, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, and Functional Neurologic Disorders. Rachael helped develop the Concussion Program and Children’s Health and was the first PT at Children’s to become certified in Dry Needling to use on patients with pain and other diagnoses. She pursued her specialty in Pediatrics in 2020 and became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy in July of 2020. She enjoys teaching her patients and their families through a trusting, respectful and open environment in order to achieve the highest level quality of care. Rachael and her husband, Jack, recently relocated from Dallas back to the beautiful Hill Country of Austin and are excited to explore their new home.
