Second, your pet must have had an examination and fecal test for intestinal parasites performed within the last 6 months. All pets must be free from external parasites (i.e. fleas, ticks, lice). Pets undergo pre-operative exams and pre-surgical blood testing before surgical procedures. Our licensed veterinary technicians monitor each individual patient from the beginning of the procedure until they awaken. During surgery, the surgical team monitors the patients’ health with EKG, heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and blood oxygen levels.
