X-rays
A 3D Panoramic X-ray is not designed to find cavities, but rather it reveals impacted teeth, bone abnormalities, fractures, infections, cysts and/or tumors. A 3D Panoramic X-ray provides information that other dental x-rays cannot show. Based upon this information, we can assist you in securing the proper dental care.

Teeth Cleaning
A dental cleaning is a professional cleaning you receive from a dentist or dental hygienist and is usually completed in less than 30 minutes.
Dental Sealants
Some teeth have fine grooves or pits that accumulate plaque, not because the person doesn't brush, but because the grooves are too narrow to allow even one bristle into them. When plaque accumulates, it can lead to cavities and other types of tooth decay. To apply sealants, a plastic material is brushed onto the tooth, filling these narrow grooves and preventing the cavity-causing buildup. Sealants make healthy teeth possible.

Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment, also referred to as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy, is used to save an infected or damaged tooth and avoid having it removed. A root canal becomes necessary when a neglected cavity reaches all the way to the pulp at the center of the tooth, causing the pulp to become infected. Regular cleanings and checkups detect and prevent problems early on.

Deep Cleaning
Periodontal treatment typically involves containing the bacteria through deep cleaning. This deep cleaning consists of scaling and root planing which clears the bacterial buildup along the root of the teeth. We also suggest specific toothpastes and mouth rinses. In severe cases, we may refer you to the care of a periodontist, a dentist who specializes in gum care.

Dentures
There are two types of dentures available: partial dentures and complete dentures. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain and complete dentures are used to replace all teeth. Dentures are made to resemble your natural teeth, so there should be no noticeable change to appearance. In fact, dentures may even improve a smile!

Prior to treatment, we will schedule you for a consultation with Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim will do a thorough examination as well as a review of any dental records we have obtained. You will also have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding implant dentistry. If Dr. Kim determines an implant is the best option for you, we will schedule you for treatment.

Dr. Kim focuses on maximizing the benefits of growth and development of children in two-stage early treatment and of an intervention program that includes identifying and changing bad habits, such as thumb sucking and tongue thrusting, that can cause maligned teeth. This intervention will thereby reduce the need for braces. He also specializes in accelerated adult orthodontics whereby patients are scheduled on a more frequent basis, reducing the length of treatment.
