        Decent Indian Food

        First of all, this is no longer Yasmeen's. It was taken over by a new mgt close to 2 yrs back or so as told by the waiter and is now renamed to Maharaja's.

        Both the times I have been here has been for the lunch buffet. It costs $7.95 which is very economical and has a good deal of variety too both in vegetarian as well as non. The quality is fairly decent considering the price. It is wayyy better than Taj Cafe which is the other Indian restaurant I have been to in Ventura. I would definitely go back!



        Update: The lunch buffet now costs $8.49

        I am Indian, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my Birthday because my Friends are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my all friends to be impressed and they were really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the birthday.The customer service was great and Offcourse India is Great Than That of Other Countries.I am very proud to be an Indian.REGARDS - Ashish Pandey ( Mumbai, India )
