This was our first restaurant experience when we moved to town. Asia was our server and she was totally on the ball. We wanted for nothing that she could provide. The food was really fresh and people were cleaning it continually.

awful!! ):

worst service ever. waited forever to get a table after I had to ask one of the two people at the front counter for a table. then the manager argued with me apparently standing at a counter is a good excuse to ignore your customers. Never again!!

Could it possibly be worse????

Recently had General Tsao's Chicken, Pork Fried Rice and Pea Pod Shrimp. Wish these guys would use at least salt and pepper! No flavor, bland food! The only redeeming quality about this place is the Fortune Cookie which was probably made in Detroit! General Tsao's is supposed to have at least some spice to it and was completely flavorless. The Pea Pod Shrimp was also very bland and the pork fried rice tasted worse than Rice-A-Roni! Took it as a take out and gave half of it to the dog and he looked at me like it was a punishment! Not going back and wouldn't recommend this. We love good chinese food and Mandarin House ain't it!

Best Chinese

This is some of the best Americanized Chinese food I've ever had. One can tell that the owners know authentic Chinese food, but also know their audience. The food is tasty and varied, but doesn't taste it use MSG or has excessive amounts of oil. There is a salad bar in addition to a solid selection of Chinese dishes on the buffet (sweet and sour sauce available on the side, not pre-dousing the pork, chicken, or shrimp). The hot and sour soup is particularly good. This is highly recommended for anyone passing through Twin Falls.

This is the best local Chinese restaurant, their Buffet dosen't have 100s items but have the finest ingredient and freshness. I love their soups no other place has.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

What a waste of my time and more importantly my money. The "buffet' is the lamest in town. The price: about 14 bucks!!! Waaaaay too high for the poor quality and selection. LAME LAME LAME. The food at Panda Express is better than this. - I'm not kidding!!

Best to Avoid

I have been here more than once. The food is un-inspired at best and can poison you at worse. I had the unfortunate experience of biting into a piece of chicken that was absolutely rank! I would avoid this place like the plague.

Basic Chinese buffet served like every other below average buffet. If you want the basic stuff served at every other Chinese restaurant with below average service and management, this is the place. Menu--same ol same ol. Our club meets here weekly and I never eat. Greasy, boring stuff you can get anywhere. Management is a pain to deal with. Some waitresses are great, others are less than desireable to work with. When my family and I want authentic Chinese cuisine we go to other restaurants around town and there are plenty of them. If you want to feel the bloat of MSG, come here. If not, then find another place. Mongolian style or a Tepanyaki style. Mandarin House is a waste of time and money. Best thing is you can park here and walk to a Sizzler or even a DQ!
