Aqua Salon & Day Spa

Worst haircut I’ve ever had. She used a dirty brush. The cut is uneven. She gave me bangs when I absolutely did not ask for bangs. They look terrible. I’m fairly certain that she was self taught to cut hair. Instead of cutting in layers or sections, she kept twisting my hair and then randomly cutting parts up and down the twist. It looks so bad I’m embarrassed to wear it down. But it’s so short in places, I have to grow it out to get it fixed. If you’re thinking of trying Aqua Salon, save your hair and go anywhere else.

I had a wonderful experience at Aqua Salon on Friday May 6th. Ginger is the most friendly and welcoming front desk receptionist. She recommended Haley to do my hair, knowing that I am nervous about trying new hairstylists because I have a lot of thick hair and it is hard to know how to cut. I told Haley that I do not style my hair, but wash and go and needed something very low maintenance yet polished looking. She was FANTASTIC! She listened to what I wanted done, and I felt totally at ease once she began to do her handiwork. The end result was wonderful...I couldn't have asked for more. I am going to be a repeat customer of this salon. Oh, and Carlos, the owner, was also very complimentary to me as Haley was doing my hair. What a great place!

Carlos has been cutting and coloring my hair for 4 years as well as my Mothers. He is FANTASTIC!!!! The staff is very friendly and once you are there you see how they are one big family. I highly recommend Aqua salon. I am constantly asked who does my hair.

TERRIBLE. UNPROFESSIONAL. BEWARE. RUN AWAY. I purchased a Groupon for my mother at Aqua Spa and Salon in Tucker, Georgia. My mother went in to redeem her service a couple of days later and they told her she needed to make an appointment. They scheduled her for an appointment for today, July 3, 2013. After her arrival to the salon, my mother sat for 20 minutes before she was greeted by anyone on the Staff. The salon staff member (Ginger) then informed her that the nail technician was stuck in traffic and would be there momentarily. My mother then sat there for 30 minutes before becoming fed up and realizing she was going to be late for my brothers wedding. SHe tells Ginger that she has a busy schedule and Ginger then informed her that the technician would not be coming in. Instead of being up front with my mother she allowed her to sit for an hour before notifying her. She then had the audacity to tell my mother that she can "get a refund on the Groupon". I am completely disgusted by the treatment my mother received when not only was she a paying customer, she waited patiently, and had two appointments made that the salon cancelled. There service was inconsiderate and unprofessional and I will make it my civic duty to warn everyone in the Tucker, Atlanta, and Smokerise area of this horrible horrible place.

Traveled in from out of town and checked out the YP listing and saw they had good reviews. I got a good haircut and they were very quick and thorough ! Thanks Victor.
