Grantline Dental / Daman Gill DDS

I am not the one to write reviews but this one is well deserved. I had moved from a rural area to tracy. I was use to basic care from a dentist. Having found Grantline Dental I now know what a Dentist office should be like. They are through from start to finish. I feel I know about my dental health and have the options to choose what is best for me and when. They are great. The hygienist logan is so very personable. Even though teeth cleaning is never fun, she makes it definitely not so bad.

Our family has been coming here for over 8-9 years.Dr.Gill is a very very good dentist. He did a filling on my front tooth some 7 years ago and my friends cannot even tell this tooth was ever repaired. I had other work done and everything looks and feels good. His staff is attentive and professional, he always makes you feel comfortable and understands that some patients are terrified of a dentist ! His needle skills are amazing; you feel nothing. I have recomended many friends and coworkers and they all have given me positive feedback.

Hands down The BEST dental experience I've ever had – Is there a rating beyond great? There should be, at least for some categories. Seriously, this office/practice is the BEST dental experience I've ever had -- and I've had quite a few at different offices.The assistant was so good with the x rays.kept me occupied with her conversation and she was great at this too! Dr Gill was very nice and I never felt anything while he was giving the shot or during the procedure. And I felt very little pain the next day! Amazing! Thank you for such a wonderful trained staff and for caring about giving quality care. In this day and age of ME, it's great knowing there are offices like yours -- and that I'm one of your patients.

From the day he started to grow his adult teeth, my son's teeth were a complete mess. As a parent, I knew this was going to be a long road and I wanted a positive environment. We could have gone to another specialist but Dr. Gill and his staff felt "right." Two years and 2 months later, our son has a beautiful smile. We are really happy with the results, the experience was great, Dr Gill is a genuine good guy. Personality, professional and can explain everything on a level appropriate for kids and adults. I would highly recommend his staff and practice.

From my first visit, I knew that this was not going to be the normal dental experience.the best of the best sweet heart dentist – I have absolute confidence in Dr. Gill .his staff are terrific ,Proffesional,Caring etc.... I recommened them to whom ever needs regular check ups to restoring your confidence with a beautiful smile .Next to your family and your health they are third on my list!! The office is always very clean and neat. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Gill is the best. My procedure was not at all what I expected. I expected to be uptight and nervous but I was not. Actually I was very surprised and how comfortable I was sitting in his chair. I have recommended him to everyone that I know who is looking for a excellent dentist. he is so into his work and you can see it in his passion for dentistry. he will never cement anything from the labs unless he is satified 100% with it, and he is always investing in his office making more comfortable to patient, he really puts his heart in it. I wish I knew about him years ago!

Top notch facility,Good service, and a great staff. The people in the office are attentive and the work gets done ,seems seamlessly. Passing stuff back and forth without even saying anything and a light goes on, then they pass some more. Quick and efficient with no pain. I was numb and done in 30 minutes, although my lip stayed numb for 3 hours. It was weird.Dr. gill has been our family dentist for 5-6 years. In all that time, every family member has been treated with courtesy, great dentistry and big, beautiful smiles! He is a real person who cares about his patients and shows that with his calm demeanor and good sense of humor. His business is kid friendly and he really does "cater to cowards" -- that's what got me in the door the first time. There may be other good dentists in Tracy, but as long as Dr.Gill is in business, I'll never know. :)

I had been avoiding dentists like plague for the last decade or so and my teeth, as you can imagine, were in less than a good condition! I went to Dr. Gill after my teeth were very sensitive to cold to the point it would send shock waves down my spine! I chose Grantline dental as my colleague took her 7 year old to the same clinic and was quite happy with them.



I had three cavities and my gums had receded more than normal from the lower front teeth. Dr. Gill took lot of X Rays, it was all very thorough and all digital! Dr. Gill explained in depth what my treatment plan was going to be. Not only my cavities & senstivity have gone but my teeth are looking better than ever!



I am now going to stick to my dental appointments religiously and I want to thank Dr. Gill for the wonderfull job he has done for my teeth!

This last friday was my 7 year olds second visit to Dr, Gill and it was just as pleasant as the first one! They were so nice and friendly to my daughter and I. Dr. Gill even made a special appointment after hours to see my daughter when she had an emergency . I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr.Gill and his staff has been to me and my family. I would definietly refer my friends and family to this practice!

Wonderful staff and Best doctor in the world. Friendly, caring, thorough and competent. He's been my dentist for over 6 years and everything is first rate, from cleaning, xrays, fillings and even those dreaded extractions when necessary. Can't go wrong with Dr. Gill.

I have had my fair share of good and bad dentists and this was by far the best experience at the dentist I have ever had! Being absolutely terrified of going to the dentist due to several traumatizing experiences, I can only say that if you are worried about going - this is the place to go! The staff was very warm and friendly trying to put me at ease through the procedure, while working very efficiently and talking me through it. They take as much time as you need, and at no point in time do you feel that they are hurried. I strongly advice anyone who is worried about going to the dentist to go to Dr Gill. The office is small and high tech, but the approach is so much more personal and caring than in any fancy huge dentist practice I have ever been to. I am so glad its over and will go again next week to get one more cavity fixed. Trust me you won't regret it, and it feels oh so great to have that worry I carried around for months out of the way! :)..It always feels good to have one less thing to worry about.

I had work done at a different dental office but the tooth was hurting for months,so I went with my gut and got a second opinion at Grantline Dental for a tooth that has never felt right since it was capped two years ago. Visually my tooth looked ok and after numerous x -rays at my last office I called Dr Gill. I was offered a consultation at no charge (including an x-ray!!!!!) elsewhere wanted to charge 50-100 just to walk in the door. On my x-ray the doctor showed me a FRACTURE in the root of my tooth which explains why I have been unable to chew on it. Even after the shock of being told I am going to loose my tooth I felt very comfortable making Dr Gill my new dentist. Three months later I have a very real looking bridge which I can finally eat on for the first time in 2 years. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Intially I was reffered to Grantline dental by my close friend and since I had a very positive experience there , my whole family has been seeing Dr. Gill for years. He went to the USC dental school which is one of the best in the country and it shows. He is detail oriented, very very talented at what he does. We had some tough dental situations for him to handle and he did an amazing job over several visits. His office is very clean and his staff and very polite. I would not trust my daughters teeth to anyone else!

Pros: He is a gentle perfectionist

Cons: Takes his time but thats a good thing

We highly recommend Dr. Gill .

To me, my health is of paramount importance, so ofcourse I am very picky when it comes to finding my doctor,dentist or chiropractor.To do so I have a small check list-

* Has excellent bedside manners

* Is very efficient and professional

* Has a warm, friendly, amazing disposition



But Dr. Gill in fact is all of those things and more. he's incredibly caring (wants to understand if you've had any dental issues or fears in the past), thorough, professional, efficient, and funny. What a combination.



I just moved to Tracy a few months ago and hadn't lined up a new dentist here. Truth be told, I hadn't been to the dentist in (GASP) 10 years. No fooling. Shameful terrible stuff. No surprise, when I was eating microwave popcorn last week, part of one of my back teeth broke off. For reals! I had a cavernous gap in my tooth where tooth should have been.



Long story short, Dr. Gill squeezed me in the same day -- to check things out and put in a temporary fix. This, in spite of the fact that he was very busy with patients that day. Not only did he help me out in an emergency but he didn't even have a prior relationship with me. Amazing, generous spirit.



Anyway, the temporary measure held great and he made room for me to replace that with a complete fix at the beginning of this week. I went in, he anesthetized me, checked as to whether a root canal was necessary, and filled the cavity -- all within about 40 minutes and in flawless form.



I highly recommend Dr. Gill and his professional, warm, friendly staff as well. Another bonus are the phone reminders as well as the ability to communicate online. Way to go, Dr. G!. Mission accomplished!!

This was such a good experience at the dentist's office, I actually can't wait to go back. After filling out the paper work for being a first time patient was taken back for my cleaning almost immediately. The staff was extremely courteous and seemed to genuinely enjoy having conversation. While being worked they had satellite radio being pumped through the whole office. There's nothing like getting your teeth cleaned while listening to "eagles" on the 101.7 FM station. They are big into giving you choices for what you want to do next with the procedures you are getting done. The girl I was working with was very friendly in helping me decide what options best worked for me and my insurance coverage. Dr.gill was very accommodating and did a great job making sure I was comfortable during the whole procedure. I'm trying to think of something bad to say about this place... Maybe if they could work on my teeth whilst giving me a massage... that would be pretty sweet.
