Mucho Gusto

I'd driven by it a hundred times and finally stopped for lunch this past week. It was busy, but, I was seated at the bar and almost immediately got chips and Salsa. I found the Salsa to be the best I'd had in AZ. You have to like spicy though, which I do. I had one Fish Taco and one Carneitas (spicy pork) Taco. It was beyond any doubt one of, if not the best Fish taco I'd ever had. More fish than breading and remarkable flavor. The Pork Taco was also GREAT. I will go back every chance I get. Let me sum it up like this, Good Flavorful Mexican Food, not Mexican Food made for Gringo's!

I had lunch yesterday. It was after 1:30 so not busy. I sat at the bar. Did not get acknowledged for at least 5 minutes. I ordered my meal, it was cold. Told bartender and he sent back. took another 10 minutes to get back. It was still cold. The Barteneder never asked if it was hot enough. the small bowl of chips werer never refilled. The Manager (used loosley) never acknowledged me the whole time I was there. The help was busy groping/hugging servers. Not once did anyone ask me if "everything was ok". The cooks in the back were busy yelling profanities..... at least 4-5 times while I was there........I understand Spanish. And lastly, I paid $14.27 on a credit card with no tip. I left a 2 dollar tip only to find that the amount charged on my card was $17.27 and taking the bartendars tip to $5.00. I have business lunches almost daily and have always wanted to try out Mucho Gusto. Never again. Another footnote, the food wasn't that good anyways..........

The chicken taco was all dark meat and no mention of such in the menu. The chicken was also soaked in broth ( i assume) so the corn tortillas were all soggy. The service was slow and took them 30 min for 2 small orders. When I tried to tell them the food was not to my liking, they wanted me to pay for it anyway.
