        GREAT JOB DONE BY CALVIN’S TRANSMISSION SERVICE –TAMPA, FLORIDA 20 Sept 13

        This is a 5 star review of my experience with Calvin’s Transmission Shop on Nebraska St in Tampa, Florida. Thanks to Calvin, Greg and also Calvin Jr.



        I was travelling and working in Tampa Florda and....

        It was August 2013 and my car started kicking and bumping. I have a 2000 Mazda 626. I was concerned that the transmission was acting up.

        I stopped by Calvin’s Transmission shop to have them check it out and I met a gentleman named Greg. He assured me that they could get to the bottom of the problem and give an accurate quote.

        I left my car with Greg and in a day he had my estimate. I needed a full transmission rebuild. I got 3 additional price quotes. Calvin’s Transmission was the best price but I was concerned about their ability to do a good job obviously.

        I ended up going with Calvin’s Transmission. I discovered that Calvin, the owner is a master at repairing transmissions and Greg is a master at diagnosing the exact problem with the transmission and he is also very good with customer relations and people skills. Together they make a great team.

        My car is now repaired and I have been driving it for 3 weeks on and off the freeway and it is like a new car. I highly recommend Calvin’s transmission for your transmission needs. If you need a full rebuilt transmission it will not be cheap but they will be the best price in S. Tampa and they know what they are doing.

        Transmission went out on my Honda mini-van and searched to find a fair price and respectable shop. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Calvin transmission. His price is very reasonable and what he quoted was exactly what I paid. No overcharged scam as others have when they get you in the door and you are stuck with overcharge. Will definitely tell others.

        Great service, just got my honda finished today. Full warranty on the clutch and flywheel for 12k mi or 12 mos. Very low priced. Will defiantly be returning for future repairs. When asked for a quote, Calvin's Transmissions responded to my message within 20 minuets of leaving it. Where the other transmission shops did not reply to me until later in the week.

        I went there on a referral from someone else that has had work done. The prices were so low and I couldn't believe another shop tried to charge me so much more for the same job. I saved about 400 dollars going here and the car drives great now. I am very happy with the professionalism and quality and will recommend Calvin's to my friends.

        Best prices in town. I was quoted 900 for the clutch and 1800 for the transmission from another shop. Calvin's cost only 1600 for both and I got the same warranty. Aslo my case was cracked and that was also part of the repair price. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

        Quality Work, Cheap Prices

        I haven't got a great job and needed my minivan transmission done cheap. This company seems to know what is needed in this recession. Quality work at a cheap prices. I had work on my 1998 Isuzu Oasis done here and it was at least 400 dollars cheaper that anyone around and they did a great job. My minivan drives like brand new. They also replaced the motor mounts and one of the cv axles.



        Thanks to them I won't have to worry about getting to work anytime soon..

        Outstanding service and a great price

        Calvin's transmissions did a great job with my truck. I saved over 500 dollars over the other guys and got a great warranty with the work.
