- General Info
- Established in 1941 The Hall family founded Hall Electric Supply Co., Inc. in 1941, prior to World War II as a service company repairing major appliances in the Metropolitan Boston area.The commencement of World War II caused a severe shortage in the availability of all appliance parts and accessories. After the end of the war the Hall family approached many OEM factories requesting them to supply parts for our usage, and we became parts distributors for several companies. This influx of distribution allowed us to expand our base and solicit new business. In early 1950 we began the practice of marketing to service companies in the New England area. The service company was closed and concentration was with the selling of parts for appliances.In 1954 the trade name of HESCO was adopted [short for Hall Electric Supply Co., Inc.]. Our growth pattern continued and HESCO expanded to national sales.After several moves HESCO settled in the city of Stoneham, Ma about 10 miles outside of Boston.

We have been going there for years for small items. in April 2015 we ordered a part and gave a sizable deposit. The part was promised 2 week delivery. I called weekly and got the same story I'll check on it and get back to you later today Kevin never returns your calls. After 4 months the story changed to the factory will ship this Friday. 2 months later I asked for a return of my deposit Finally I went to the store and very nicely asked for my deposit back Kevin was extremely rude, very unprofessional and downright nasty he wrote up the credit and I'm still waiting for it to show up on my monthly credit card statement. Kevin said he was not pleased (can't use his exact words but usually not words used in a business transaction) that I wanted the refund . Not going back there again. Minus 1 star rating
I ordered a part from Hesco in December and never received it !! He always says he will call back but never does. He can't provide me with tracking information or is the wrong information. I strongly suggest you look somewhere else he is a crook and needs to be shut down!!!

Provided by SuperpagesVery small 'store'- very disorganized inside & very crowded! Most parts will not be in stock meaning they need to order for you- they require full payment for all orders up-front and most parts cannot be returned once specially ordered. They only accept credit/debit cards for orders above a certain amount! Their staff is rude (especially "Benjamin") and seems to only want to help those people coming in that know about appliances- they do NOT like novices and even claim that they will not wait on people if they do not feel like it! If you know what part you need try ordering on-line yourself- this place marks up ordering costs x4/5 times! But the biggest issue with their staff is their arrogance! If they go out of business alot of people will not be crying... Better customer care would help them alot (Benjamin could learn alot from a course on manners and courtesy)!
