Pet Central

My dog has severe anxiety with groomers and around other dogs. He shakes and gets so nervous and will even nip at you. We tried to take him to other groomers but they would give up on him and give him back to us half shaved, claiming he wouldn't let them touch him. Pet Central has never had a problem getting him groomed. I'm sure that it's hard, and he's not any easier with them, but they're super patient and he always comes out happy and looking like a million bucks. So grateful that they're willing to work with our Moby, otherwise we would have to get him sedated which can cost upwards of $200/groom, which we don't have. Would recommend them to anyone.

They always ask what I would like done with my dogs when they are groomed. They do an excellent job. I also appreciated that I was allowed to walk back into the boarding area to pick up my dogs once! They have nothing to hide! I was able to see how clean their facilities were and exactly what my dogs had been up to. They even make comments about their personalities, so I know they are at least paying them some attention while I am away! I would recommend anyone take their dog to Pet Central!

We took our cat in for grooming, the owners were great and so kind. I think they knew I was embarrassed about how knotted her fur was but let me know they would take good care of her. They did an amazing job, her lion cut looks so cute.



The business is very clean. I will definitely bring our pets to them in the future.

I have been taking our Jack Russel there for over a year now and they have been great! I think they go the extra mile and are always wiling to answer questions or help out. I would and have recommended them to a lot of people.

I have loved taking my animals to Pet Central. I have a boxer that gets really nervous in new places and around new people, but he loves to go to Pet Central. You can tell that the owners really love and care for your pets while they are there. While boarding, they walk your dogs everyday and keep them active. They have groomed my dog and cat for the last few years and it looks great everytime. I'll never go anywhere else!!

This was our first visit. They were asked to wash the dog, period. When we picked her up they had made the decision to shave parts of our dog without asking us if we wanted it.



I WILL NEVER RETURN! MY DOG, MY CHOICE!

I have been taking my dog to Pet Central since they opened in March 2009. I have loved it every time! I have a Yorkie that I like to keep short and keep his ears short too. The owners have always been professional and very willing to work with me and my needs. I also have my dog boarded at Pet Central and feel like they try their best to make it a good experience on my dog. They offer a wide variety of boarding pick up hours which works great when you are returning home from a vacation. I recommend them to every animal owner I know!

I used to think I would recommend them to anyone, but that changed yesterday. I have dogs that don't need a whole lot of grooming, just the fur on their paws trimmed occasionally. I have been taking them to PetCentral for a few months just to have the paws trimmed and nails clipped and the establishment seemed fine with it. Yesterday, the owner of the place confronted me and pretty much accused me of being an abusive owner because I did not want to pay for a full grooming, only the paw trims. I bathe, condition, and clip my dogs myself, other than the paws that are hard to get at. He had found some knots behind my dog's ears that I had not noticed but fully intended to clip when I got home. He was extremely mad at me for not wanting to spend more money at his place to have him do full grooming, like I'm a horrible owner for trying to take care of them myself. I will never go back there again, I have found a new groomer in Mapleton that looks much better!
