My insurance company sent my car here after it was hit. The auto shop missed repairing my ignition lock cylinder that had been damaged during the accident. When I brought it up Spring Mall Auto stated that it was probably not caused by the accident, but I assured them it was because it was not there prior to the accident. I am an honest person who does not like to be accused of dishonest behavior so was a bit difficult for me to hear. Not only did they deny any responsibility, but the mechanic proceeded to tell me how I was uneducated about vehicles. I admit I am not a mechanic, but I believe that it is naive of someone to believe they know everything about anything in life. I am a systems engineer and I do not know how it is in most professions, but I know that in my profession sometimes things happen that I cannot fully explain. I felt that were they not only rude, but also unprofessional because rather than doing any further investigation about the incident they just stated they already made their assessment.

Undoubtedly the best body shop in Northern Virginia. Over the last five years, I have had many repairs done - including a scrape down the entire side of a 2003 Nissan Altima S, four different major body repairs on a blue 2007 Hyundai Tiburon SE, and just recently, dent and scratch repairs on a black 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer, to name a few. Every time, I am blown away by the amazing work. Without fail, the car comes back looking better than ever. When it comes to body shops, I will NEVER go anywhere else.

I just went over the workmanship done to my 2011 Suburban that my wife picked up yesterday and I am amazed at the quality. From the time we dropped the vehicle off to the time we picked up we were kept informed through out the process. Javier was professional and took care of everything including the rental car. I just picked up my Lexus GX470 from Spring Mall, which was side swiped causing damage from front to back on the drivers side. The car is pearl white, which is difficult to match, but Spring Mall did an outstanding job in blending the new paint with the old. The car looks awesome, even better than before the accident. Rick Crayton was my service representative. He was curtious, helpful, and he did an excellent job in providing e-mail progress reports while the car was in the shop. The Spring Mall shop is run in a very efficient and professional manner. They provided a prompt and fair estimate, the repair time was consistent with their original estimate, and they exceeded my expectations on the queality of the repair work, which was flawless.

First experience with this com...

First experience with this company. Hit/run driver hit my truck, but was caught and had Geico insurance, so was referred to this shop. Estimator was Mark, who looked it over and told me he’d call me that night and call along the way with progress of repairs. He never called. I called 4 days into the repair to check the status, and he called back and told me when it would be ready. I went to pick up the truck, and while waiting, read the repair sheet. Noticed that the estimate was almost $500 more than 2 estimates from other local shops. More importantly, I noticed that they listed “remove/install trailer hitch, window in side door, and blending of the paint on the rear door”. To make a long story short, I carefully inspected each item, and pointed out to the guy that these particular things have obviously never been done. He said “well, that’s what was on the estimate (?)” I asked if they had a Quality Inspector to check if things listed are actually done, and he said “yes, he was supposed to check and make sure they were done”. He then proceeded to just stand there looking at me. I asked to speak with the boss, and he informed me that the boss leaves at 1:30 every day, so he wasn’t available. I advised that I would inform Geico that they were being charged for stuff on a repair sheet (marked “PAID BY GEICO) that wasn’t actually done. He then said he could adjust the bill. So, my thoughts are this: first, and likely very important, is why would a repair facility submit a bill to the Insurance Company without verifying that the work was actually done, and would they have told the Insurance company things weren’t done had I not pointed them out? Does this shop engage in this activity, and hope the customer doesn’t know better, or notice? While the finished product is excellent as far as the paint & body work, I have no confidence in a repair facility that doesn’t check their work, and bills insurance companies for work never performed. If you ever have the opportunity to deal with this repair facility, make sure you check to see they’ve done what they charged for. Falsification of bills leads to increases in all our insurance premiums. I personally will never deal with them again.

My Toyota FJ Cruiser was rear ended (imagine that in the Balt. Wash, Metro area) with some light damage to the tupperware on the rear of my FJ. Allstate sent me to Spring Mall for an estimate and in the mean time I decided to have an aftermarket steel bumper put on my truck. Getting the aftermarket parts to the B/S in time was a little promlematic but the communication between Rick Crayton and Dee was top notch. I was worried that the credit for the stock rear parts that I did not use would be realized. No issues, everything was accounted for and handled in a professional manner. When I picked up my vehicle, it was cleaned inside and out and looked brand new. It certainly didn't look that way when I took it in! Give these folks a try, in my case they provided me a tailored fit when the insurance only provide an off the rack repair.

I had my car fixed there 2 weeks ago and I had a wonderful experience. From the first phone call to the time I picked up my car I had 5 star service. Javier was my customer service rep and he took care of everything for me. My vehicle looks better than before the accident and I have a lifetime warranty from the shop and the insurance company. Thank you to the entire staff at Spring Mall for making me feel like family. I would refer them 100%

I've taken my cars here for years for everything from the occasional fender bender to minor scratches and detailing work. They always stand behind their work and make sure everything is right. I have a meticulous eye, and am never disappointed. Not that I'm happy to have auto body work done, but knowing you have a reliable shop with fair prices takes the stress out of the process.Chris K., Arlington

I just picked up my 2008 Suburban from Springmall Auto body and it looks like brand new. USAA insurance sent me there and everyone was great! They made me feel like a friend not a customer and kept me informed through out the process. I was told 7 days to repair and got it back in 5 days and it was spotless when I picked it up. Very friendly staff and the rental company was there in the office, I was in and out in under 15 minutes. I would recommend them to everyone as well as USAA insurance. Awesome and thank you for a great job!

I got my car fixed here around Christmas last year and let me say that my car looks even better than before the accident! The deer I hit did a number on my front end, but no one can tell that there was ever anything wrong with it. Not only was everyone extremely nice and helpful in making sure i understood everything, but the paint matches perfectly and all the parts alook like the originals! I paid extra for a detail to be done inside and out and i can't remember the last time my car was so pretty! I would definately bring my car back to Spring Mall Auto Body if I was ever in another accident.

I've taken my cars to Springmall for over 10 years. I have a meticulous eye, and the repair work they do is phenomenal - cars look like new when they're done, and even come back washed with an interior detail. Springmall is reasonably priced, and they always take care of their customers. I don't think I've seen an operation that can both match the quality of work as well as the friendly and professional service I've received there. As much as I hate the occasional fender bender, I can at least rest easy knowing the job will be done right the first time - and at a fair price. Awesome!!!!!!!! They fixed my 2002 Grand Cherokee that had $6,000.00 worth of damage and it looks like the day I bought it. Great customer service, very friendly. The job was done in 2 weeks! I have used them several times in the past and my friends have had there vehicles fixed there as well and we have never had a bad experience. We drove 90 miles to have them fix it. First class operation!

Simply the Best !!!!

I have had 3 cars repaired at Spring Mall. My insurance agent recommended Spring Mall for my first repair. Not only was the repair excellent, but the special paint on my vehicle matched PERFECTLY. The staff walked me through the entire repair process and eased the anxiety I was feeling, since this was my first accident.

I knew immediately, that with my next 2 accidents, which were not my fault, that I was going back to Spring Mall Auto Body. I WAS NOT DISSAPPOINTED!!!!

untrustworthy company

Geico insurance company direct me go to Spring Mall Auto Body after the collision. The first time i went, darken color spray painting mistake, and then i go back to complaints. After re-painting, i found my tires were reversed, the original aluminum alloy wheel spare tire (back-up tire), have been replaced by black steel tire which is not belong to me, I call to lodge complaints, the general manager, john,insisted that it is impossible, saying only that the car dealer now are normally provide black steel spare tire.I went door-to-door complaint, the manager just send his staff to saying the same story without checking. I bought my car 3 1/2 years ago in lustine toyota woodbridge, i am very sure my car come with alloy wheel spare tire (my husband always check spare tire have enough air, we drove to new york, atlanta, virginia beach with this car.) this company is U N T R U S T W O R T H Y ! ! ! ! !
