Desoto Children's Clinic

My daughter went in on1/18/13 for them to look at a rash. My mother took her they vaccinated her twice for the flu. I called them after I got off they want to cover up what they did. This damn fool get on the phone and tell me she hasn't been vaccinated since 2010 no sir she was vaccinated in nov 19 2012. Then he say she was suppose to have two vaccinations like I'm boo boo the fool. They did not document it. What if this would have potentially harmed my daughter worse than it did,she started vomiting fri-mon ,fever,runny nose,coughing like she a smoker. Took her to a new pediatrician on Mon she has strep. They seen her same day was out of there in less than an hour, please don't take your children there. They are very incompetent ,,,idiots. They don't deserve that one star

!!!WORST CLINIC EVER!!!

My child had an appt for 10:15, & we didn't leave til 1:30, & HE STILL WASN'T SEEN. I asked what was taking so long, & the lady said something about them having to change up for lunch. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR HIM TO BE IN THERE DURING THEIR LUNCH TIME, HE HAD AN APPT FOR 10:15. This is NOT the only time that I have had a problem with this clinic. I ABSOLUTELY HATE COMING TO THIS ZOO, THAT THEY CALL A CLINIC. The doctors won't listen to anything you have to say, & they make all these wierd suggestions. What doctor tells you to start feeding your baby more butter, grease, & sugar so that he could gain weight? NOT ANY DOCTOR THAT I KNOW, & I've worked beside some of the best doctors. This clinic needs to be SHUT DOWN. They won't be getting anymore of my money.

I disagree. I refuse to see this doctor. When my 7 yr old was 2 weeks old, she was having trouble breathing. We had been to the doctor's office (DeSoto Children's Clinic) for the issue. Well, Saturday night came along ans she was really struggling. We took her to Baptist DeSoto where Dr. Levine was the on-call pediatrician. He diagnosed her over the phone with a chest cold and sent us on our way. The very next morning, my daughter was worse. We made the drive to LeBonheur downtown. The grabbed her from me and ran. She was only breathing 30% oxygen. She almost died. She spent 2 weeks in the ICU with an IV in her head all because Dr. Levine couldn't take the time or inclination to do his job. I realize that all people make mistakes but because of this, I almost lost my child. It was a gross example of the lack of care that was provided to my daughter and I. Thanks to the GREAT doctors at LeBonheur, my daughter is now a strong, great child instead of a grave stone. Some doctors at Baptist DeSoto are great and caring. Dr. Krasin has always been wonderful.

Be sure to ask for Dr. Levine. He is awesome, and is interested in your child's WHOLE health. He can be blunt, and sorry mother's don't like that, but if he sees that you are doing your best, he will help you in any way he can!

Do not take your children here! You will wait hours with sick children running around everywhere, because they overbook appointments to make more money and they don't care about your children. The only care about making money! I was refused treatment, which is against medical boards, because my insurance had changed and I didn't have the updated policy number yet. My baby was only 2 months old and needed to be seen. They could've at least called ahead of time to check my insurance, but instead I took my baby out in the rain and sat there until they told me they wouldn't see me. Go somewhere else for the sake of your children!!
