Hollinger's Tree Service

I got an estimate from this company for 4 trees. The first day they took down 2 trees and left a huge mess and said they would be back the next day to finish. They we're supposed to be here at 9am. 11am rolled around and they still weren't here I called and got no answer. I called a couple hours later and still no answer. Later on that night I received a text saying that they would be there at 9am the next morning. The next day was the same exact thing all over again. This went on for days and the mess was still in my yard. Finally the 4th day I threatened to call the cops and miraculously got a return phone call. He showed up that night with just enough daylight left to clean up the mess he left and never ever came back to finish the other 2 trees. So I Googled his name.....turns out he's done jail time for scamming customers. Don't use this company you will be ripped off one way or another. Luckily for me I didn't have to take off from work to have trees cut down.

I called Hollinger’s professional tree service, got quote and hired them to remove 4 trees and grind stumps. The day before they were to do job I called to confirm because I had to take off work. I was told they would be at my house around 10am. The next day at 11:30am I called and asked what was going on and was told they will be there any minute and they got a late start. I then called at 1pm and asked again what’s going on and was told she didn’t know and would call them. Then at 2pm I called again and she said I just talked to them I thought they were at your house. I asked if she could call and find out and call me back. She said she would. I then called at 3pm and asked did you forget to call she said no but she wasn’t able to get in touch with them. I then said obviously you’re not doing my trees today and I had taken the day off. She said “I don’t know what to tell you”. She said as soon as she finds out what was happening she would call. I haven’t heard from them since.
