My husband and I were very pleased with the service that we received from Party All The Time. The DJ met me several times and made sure that every song I wanted to hear was played during my reception. The DJ was lively and even came out to the dance floor to teach us the electric slide. The music sound was wonderful and everyone had a terrific time. The dance floor was full all evening with my friends and family dancing and having fun. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ.

Overall
We had planned everything out ...

We had planned everything out in May for our wedding on July 29th. The lady did not have the music for the ceremony and relied on my laptop to play the song to walk down the aisle. She even put my groom on the spot in front of the entire room of guests because she couldn't find our ceremony music. Even though I'd provided her with a list of the entire wedding party she relied on the wedding program and read the names off of that including people that were not in the wedding party. She consistently pronounced my new last name incorrectly and did not play any of the songs we'd taken time to pick out from her list. Her husband and co-DJ appeared high on some type of drug with red glossy eyes, and slow reaction to questions. Horrible announcing of events to come (bouquet toss, garter belt toss, etc.) She failed to bring the lights for the dance floor and took absolutely NO responsibility for any of the above mistakes. And at the end of the night she fell off the stage with most of her equipment You get what you pay for. A wedding day is supposed to be one of the most important days of a brides life. I have never been so embarrassed in my entire life. My opinion is that I would have been better off with my mp3 player and a Karaoke machine.

I worked very hard preparing the music for this event. I even purchased $44.00 worth of songs that I didn't have that the couple requested. I notified the bride that I couldn't download the two songs that she wanted from Utube and that I would need to use her laptop and I provided the cord to let the music play through our equipment. I wasn't familiar with her laptop and couldn't bring up the two songs she asked for but in showing it to her fiance and then showing it to the bride, I was able to play the songs. It was about a 5 minute delay in starting her wedding. I only announced their last name once and did pronounce it wrong as I hadn't heard it before but was told the correction and made the correction. The rest of the night, I said their first names and pronounced them correctly. I had the written list of people that I needed to announce and was ready to read from the list provided but was handed a program from one of the people in her wedding party and was told to read from that instead, which I did as I didn't know if that had been a last minute change. I wanted to play from the list of requests that the bride and groom had given me, but the guests including family members constantly made requests and since the bride and groom told me to take requests, I tried to balance between the guests and the new couple. I did forget to bring the lights and did apologize for not bringing them and I played an extra hour for free. My husband has severe allergies and the reception was at a hotel that has a water park in it. He was extremely bothered by the chemicals that were being used in the hotel and had a huge allergy attack that evening, that is why his eyes were so red and why he seemed to have problems concentrating. The allergy medicine that he has to take on those occasions are strong and make him tired. The hotel had set up a table for us on the stage. I hadn't checked but the table legs were right by the edge of the stage. It is very fortunate that my husband and I hadn't bumped the table earlier in the evening as our equipment and the table would have fallen off the stage in the middle of the reception. As it was, I had already said "good night" and turned everything off. Luckily I had removed our oldest piece of equipment because it wouldn't have survived the fall. I reached for one of the cd cases and was shocked that the table started to fall off of the stage. I reached for the table to try to stop it from falling as I didn't want our equipment to break but the momentum of the table falling pulled me with it. I bounced off the edge of the table with my leg which the edge hit me between my knee and lower body and hit both knees. At this point, I must have felt pain and somehow flipped so I wouldn't hit my leg again and landed on my back. I was embarassed as nothing like that has ever happened to me but was in pain and worried about my equipment. The hotel took full responsibility for the table being placed too close to the edge of the stage and filed an accident report. My husband and I were up most of the night trying to fix cd cases and our equipment which was at first making weird sounds. I have had back and leg problems since but I am not going to attempt to sue the hotel as the person that set up the table might really need the job and he could get fired. The couple showed no signs of being worried that I was hurt or that my equipment was possibly broken. Some of their guests were concerned and came to help pick up cd's and broken cases. One of their family members made a very mean comment about me falling. I promise that I would have never done that on purpose as I have been in alot of pain since that night and the fall could have broken costly equipment. I feel that the couple is misguided in their feelings about what happened that night as I did the best job I could do in the situation. I wish the couple the best in their marriage.
