I aggressively pursued prolo therapy, chiropractic, myo-practic, deep tissue massage, yoga, stretching, walking, acupuncture, muscle release training, herbal supplements, Rolfing, anti-inflammatory medicine, posture, etc. I changed my home and my car to something more ergonomic. I added new furniture for taller people. Whatever I could try I did, with no consideration of surgical options that I found too risky and of too little predictable benefit.

Chair Massage
A native of Mesa, Holly Wolter utilizes deep manual work, gently restoring muscles and connective tissue with her magic hands. Wolter graduated from Arizona School of Massage Therapy in 2006, and methodically honed her technique for six years as a massage therapist at a number of local spas. Wolter joined Arizona Pain & Posture in early 2012. Holly provides TMJ therapy, fibromyalgia treatment, salt massage, chair massage, reflexology and myotherapy. Wolter says, “My family and career are my two passions in life. I love relaxing at home with family and taking road trips. I thrive on treating my patients to a healthy recovery.”

Dr. Marc Bonacci’s clinical approach to treatment is unusual for a chiropractor – and gets results. He blends traditional adjustments with various types of skilled manual therapy. His manual therapy is called the Bonacci Method of Regenerative Alignment. Dr. Bonacci has spent the last 15 years doing research on how to most efficiently treat injury and pain patients. Many of these cases start with unresolved issues relating to an auto accident.
Acupuncture
“Integrative” medicine means integrating holistic and conventional treatments. So, for example, a person might be able to decrease the amount of pain medication they are taking, if they are also doing acupuncture, maybe massaging essential oils into their painful spots. Even something like cancer can be treated in an integrated manner: It has been shown that patients handle chemotherapy better when they are on a really strong diet with zero sugar intake (because that’s what feeds cancer cells) and given superfoods and high-dose infusions of vitamins at the same time. Integrative medicine is doing a lot with cancer.
