In the past 20 years, Tawa has satisfied the needs of oversea immigrants by providing them with their hometown flavors. It has developed from an individual market into a grand diversified organization. The company now serves customers from all over the world. Its supermarket division owns more than 20 full-service stores in California, as well as a store in Washington. Tawa has also opened independent licensee stores in Nevada, Hawaii, Arizona and Indonesia. Tawa Supermarket has a location in San Gabriel, Calif.
