Fast Track Health Care Education

Fast Track has given me an opportunity to look for health care jobs, which helped me in my career. I completed PCT and Pharmacy Technician courses from this institution which will be useful for my future job opportunities. I liked all my teaching and office staff. They really worked with me helped me during my tenure here. The Director of the center Mrs. Teresa Jones is a down to earth person. She guided me throughout my classes and job trials. I don't normally write online reviews but I have attended the school and i had a great experience. The employees were helpful and friendly. I worked hard during the class and the school gave me a new career in the healthcare field. I took my national exam and passed it and now I am working as a pharm tech!! I am so thankful that I took the class. Thanks to my instructor and office staff for helping me in my new career!

Apparently, giving 0 stars is not an option. My wife went through the Pharmacy Technician program. I cannot begin to tell you what a waste of time it was for her and what a drain it was on our family economically. The school is quite unprofessional. The instructor rarely kept the class for the entire day, and canceled class or cut it short multiple times due to her personal schedule. This resulted in a loss of education that was paid for and a "cramming" of information at the end before the exam. "Quizzes" were handwritten and made by the teacher, yet the final "exam" was photocopied from other sources. The exam was MUCH harder than the quizzes given throughout the course and demonstrated to my wife and other students how unprepared they were for the National Certification exam. My wife will be purchasing a book to prepare, something she should have done in the first place. Oh and their "job placement assistance" is a list of pharmacies and their web addresses. Shady and unprofessional

Called today (5-18-11) to inquire about a class at Fast Track Health Care in Salem, VA. The lady that answered the phone didn's seem like she really cared and was in a hurry to get me off the phone. I heard a cell phone in the background start to ring, then she puts me on hold. I wasnt impressed at all with her customer service skills. If I had treated customers like that when I was in customer service I would have been fired! Hopefully, the instructors are better -- however, I guess I'll never know.
