I can not recommend strongly enough that you DO NOT retain his services. I hired him to take care of a civil matter, and after two years of stone walling, unreturned phone calls, unanswered emails, and a plethora of excuses (twice being told that the person answering their phones hadn't passed my messages along and had been terminated) I discovered that paperwork had NEVER been filed, and that I could actually represent myself pro se in the matter at a 90% savings over the retainer.
I was then forced to threaten to call the OCDC, as well as retain the services of another attorney, in order to get my retainer back. It's such a shame because I actually like(d) the guy. Now...waiting to see if their check clears.
