Overall

In 2010 we used Brandon Johnston to file Bankruptcy chapter 13. He was very informative and easy to work with. He also helped switch from Chapter 13 to 7 two years later so we could obtain a larger loan for a home purchase. I would recommend this office. Unfortunately 9/2015 Brandon Johnston passed away.

A domestic violence restraining order is a restraining order designed to protect people who have been abused or are threatened with abuse. You can request a domestic violence restraining order if the person who abused or threatened to abuse you is your spouse or former spouse, you are registered domestic partners, you have a child together, you are currently dating, or you used to date. You can also request a domestic violence restraining order if you have a second-degree affinity or consanguinity with the person who abused you.

Estate Planning

Wills
California enforces a time limit on will contests based on where the estate is in the probate process. For example, you can contest the will as soon as the deceased has passed on by filing an objection to the petition for probate. If the executor has already filed a petition for probate, you must file your objection before the hearing date. If you would like to contest the will after the hearing has taken place, you can only do so 120 days from the start date of the hearing.
