Dr. Martin Jan Bergman, MD

Dr. Bergman is wonderful. He is informed and knowledgeable. He really took his time with my first visit. He got to know me, not just my disease. He was very patient and took the time to explain to me all the possible routes of care. However, his staff is another creature. While they are friendly, they always seem a bit overwhelmed with the tasks of answering phone and responding to clients questions. My biggest irritation with this practice is the fact that they appear to never be opened. If they can take a day off, they will. They took two weeks at Thanksgiving and then another for the December Holidays and forget any other potential holiday, they will be closed. It's VERY inconvenient when they are closed nearly every time I call and then overwhelmed with all the backed up work with the next call. I will continue to see Dr. Bergman because I am pleased with him, but I may switch Rheumatologist if his hours and staff don't improve.
