First Med Immediate Medical Care

I have been going there on and off for years for emergencies. I've gotten a tetanus shot there. They removed a tick from my arm and had it tested for lyme. They stitched up my elbow when I fell. They are professional and quick. Of course, during flu season, there is a bit of a wait because they never know how many people will show up. My advice: have a regular internist and use this as a backup for emergencies.

The clinic in Glendale was clean and they did a good job wih doing a drug screen. My biggest complaint was with Valerie in Accounting...nasty with absolutely no customer service skills what-so-ever. I faxed over a company work order, giving instructions on billing...they were never followed. I called a total of 5 times to get the bill into my company name so that I could pay it...each time was a battle, Valerie was argumentive, combative, no customer service at all - and each time it was counterproductive because the bill didn't get paid...as a President/CEO owning 5 clinics myself - I would fire someone that treated my clients this way. Don't argue, listen, fix the problem so you can get paid for your services. Every time I ask to speak to Diane O'Neal or Dr. Vishnoi to try to solve this billing problem Valerie said they were NOT available. So no matter how great their clinical service skills - if it doesn't follow through all departments - it's a problem.
