        Austin Preparatory School is an independent Catholic school in the Augustinian tradition educating young men and women in grades 6-12 in Reading, Massachusetts. Long recognized as one of the leading independent Catholic schools north of Boston, Austin Prep's unique long-block schedule serves the academic and spiritual needs of students, guiding them along their journey to higher education - and it begins in Middle School. The average class size is just 16 students. The challenging academic program offers 18 AP courses, including a first-year AP biology class, in addition to a traditional liberal arts curriculum that calls for introductions to art and music.
