Great place to go if you want to spend money for nothing.
Took my mower there twice for the same problem. I spent over $500 combined and it still wasn't fixed. All I got for my money was a fancy explanation of why it cost so much. Finally resolved the problem with the mower by fixing it myself for $39.99. I should have done that in the first place.....Avoid!

I do not like Raytown mower. I took my mower in April 15th. I called once to check on it and went in another time. Each time they said it was not done yet. 3 weeks later they called to say it was just broken and that I could either leave my 30$ and take the mower or apply it to a 300$+ mower. 275$ used. I took my mower back. I asked them if 3 weeks to tell a person their mower was just plain old broken was their usual, as I was told the mower would be fixed in 7-10 days when I dropped it off. They ignored my question the first 2 times I asked, finally answering that that is how it is now and that I should have called more. In addition, they could not find my mower when I was picking it up. I had to go back and identify it, leading me to wonder if they actually diagnosed the correct mower. Adding the 30$ for the non-repair to the 30$ I had to pay someone to mow the lawn while it was in the shop, I have now lost 60$ and still have a broken lawnmower.

Overall

The worst Business ever.

I had to wait 2 weeks and pay $57.00 for nothing.

They couldn't fix my lawn mower because they couldn't get the new gear box to fix it but they installed new belt(useless) and they wanted me to pay for it.

I asked other options and they told me if I buy new one from them, they gonna keep my old lawn mower for the $57.00 which was for the new belt they installed. The new one they tried to sell for $399.99 was Troy Bilt TB220 which is $299.99 at the Troy bilt website. I show them Troy Bilt's Web site, but they keep saying they can not sell it for less than $399.99 and I only have options to pay $57.00 for broken lawn mower and leave or pay new one for $399.99 which is $100.00 more than regular price.

I did not want to keep arguing with them because I was with my 2 kids.I just decided my mind that I need to share my experience with all the people who want to fix their lawn mower at the Raytown Lawnmower parts & Service, because I've got really bad service.

You can always depend on Lou and the people at Raytown Lawnmower. I get a fair deal in price, a satisfaction guaranty, and the knowledge that my equipment is in good hands. If you want to buy from a small business and American products, go to Raytown Lawnmower. CSR
