        Overall

        Today, I had a reservation and when we arrived, the table was not even ready yet. We sat at the bar and waited until the hostess sat us. After over an hour of waiting, we inquired about our food. We were told that because there were two larger tables, the kitchen was backed up. I can tell you that the restaurant was far from busy. We told the staff that if our food did not come out soon that we would leave. We waited several more minutes, paid our bar tab, then left. Upon us leaving, our waitress met us in the parking lot (while we were backing out) and she told us that our food was finally ready and she wrote down our licence plate number. The dynamic would have been totally different had we even got an apology for the inconvenience but that was not in the cards for Jake's. On our way home we were pulled over by the police so they could "investigate" our dine and dash." Hey Jake's it's only called dine and dash if you are served!

        The Last time I went was a few weeks ago. The food was good, definitely need more variety of dishes. I do plan do go back again and again.
