Chicken Mary's

I ate there many times in the past and found the food really good. It had been 18 years since my last visit I decided to go again. We got there around 6pm on a Sunday. We were taken to a table by a fairly nice waitress. After sitting down we found 2 pieces of bread and asked the waitress for more and was told they were out. Ordered onion rings and they were not as good as I remembered. The chicken I ordered looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for hours, the sides were just ok. All in all it was nowhere near as good as I remembered. I am not sure I will eat there again after this experience.

I've been eating here my whole life, and I have to say we are lucky to have such great chicken establishments to eat at in Southeast Kansas.

After much local hype we visited Chicken Mary's. A moderate wait in a stuffy, uncomforable entry. Service was lousy, salad was prepackaged and dressing tasted like it was dipped from a giant vat made the week before. Bread was stale and without texture. Onion rings dripped cooking oil. The much vaunted chicken was greasy, scrawny and nauseating. Potatoes were passable and gravy was fair. Service was lousy- I should say that again- a sort of move em out attitude. What a poor restraunt !!!! Do yourself a favor- go elsewhere!
