I have been going to Helen for over 13 years now. I have followed her to every salon she has worked at since she was in Catonsville. I even moved a few years ago and drive from Pennsylvania now just to go to Helen for my hair care needs. My mother and best friend also go to her.



She is a genius with color. I change my hair color about two to three times a year and it always comes out perfect. I have had long hair, mid length hair and really short hair. No matter what the length; she always gives me a great cut. The one time I strayed, she was able to fix the damage done by the other stylist. I can be a difficult and demanding client because of how much I change my hair but Helen is always friendly, courteous and professional.



I have never had a complaint about Helen and I know that she has many clients that have followed her for years and are incredibly pleased with her work.

First of all, I was absolutely appalled by the negative comment about Helen. In my 10+ years of being Helen’s client, following her to every location she worked in those years, I have NEVER seen an unhappy client. She always manages to create a beautifully styled hair out of anything, sometimes “anything” is close to “nothing” and it looks totally great when she is done. I just don’t think she is physically able to create an “ugly” cut. She’s done all kinds of services for me and my family: short cuts, long cuts, perm, braided do’s, up do’s, coloring of various types (regular, 3d, ombre), Keratin treatments, my hair and makeup for my wedding, facials. So I have plenty of positive experience with her and decided to speak up.



Here is my story (or 10+ years history) with Helen. When I just moved to Baltimore with my hair all chopped up and wedding looming in just four months, Helen was my personal savior – she managed to create a gorgeous up-do for my wedding. People thought I had long hair, beautifully laid out in locks on top, while really my hair length was hardly reaching my shoulders – and I refused to use extensions!



Helen managed my hair ever since then, creating fresh and cute short cuts when I wanted to keep my hair really short; helping me painlessly and conveniently growing my hair almost down to my waist when I decided to grow it, so I personally know what she can do with hair of any length. Also, she handles different types of hair: my hair is wavy, and my daughter’s hair is long and curly – Helen manages is beautifully, too.



She also has knowledge about different products to help our hair stay healthy even in summer, with all the sun, pool and ocean trying to take toll of us. I saw drastic difference in my hair and in my daughter’s hair after such treatment with Keratin.



Overall, she is a great professional, and if you have any “wants” or “needs” about your hair, just let her know and she will help you figure it out and will create a style that best fits you and your requests.



Personally, I intend to be Helen's client no matter her location, for as long as she is practicing in this field.

I didn't like this place. Helen was a lady's name who cut my hair gave me an ugly hair cut. On top of that she talk too much and gave me a headache. Won't be returning.
