Phoenix College

Worst school I've ever had the displeasure of attending. They do not care about their students WHATSOEVER. They would not allow me to enroll in an open class with open seats because I missed the first class. Not only did they lose out on money and have one less seat filled, they honestly put me on "academic probation" for complaining that I wasn't allowed to be enrolled in the class. A dean called me and said that they care about their completion rate and I would fail the class because I missed the first class. I complained about her, and then she opened an investigation about my complaint on her and essentially investigated herself, and found, to no surprise, that she did nothing wrong. Um, really??? They tried to tell me it was policy to not allow the student into a class after it started, yet when I showed them an excerpt from the rulebook where it clearly states that teachers or the program director can override and allow you into the class, yet the teacher said there was nothing she could do, and Scott refused. I expressed multiple times how much school meant to me and how badly I wanted to be in the class and they didn't care. Their motto is "Committed to student success" yet their alarmingly low completion rate speaks volumes. I cannot speak poorly enough about the paralegal department. Scott Hauert is an absolute jerk, and everyone backs him. As the student, you do not matter, so you'd better learn that quickly. Run far, far away!!!!
