New Napoli Famous Pizza

New Napoli has GREAT food. I always know when I order from them i am more than satisfied! fast delivery, great specials, awesome customer service. My favorite things to order there are, cheese steaks, crab legs, the steamed shrimp

New Napoli's Famous Pizza's food is horrible for the price! I ordered a small cheese pizza, twelve piece breaded wing dings, and french fries. The delivery was fast, about a half hour, and they charged my credit card over the telephone for a total of $22.00. When the food arrived and I sat down to eat, I opened the styrofoam container and the breaded wing dings were COMPLETELY black and burned to the crisp. My husband and I could not even eat it. I called the pizzeria and explained the situation. The man who answered the phone put me on hold, and connected me to either the manager or store owner who proceeded to explain that the cook had "slightly overcooked" the wing dings. I told him they were completely burned, not edible, and that I was going to trash them. He then asked me how he could make me happy, and I said he could NOT charge me the $9.75 for the wing dings. He said he could not do that because my credit card had already been charged, and that he could only give me store credit for future use. I was so angry and annoyed, and I knew if I kept talking to him I might get nasty. I decided to just say yes to the credit, but that is completely pointless because I will definitely NOT be ordering from this pizzeria ever again.



The correct thing for him to do would have been to say to me, "We apologize for the situation, but we appreciate your business and value you as a customer. As soon as the delivery man returns to the pizzeria, we will give him $9.75 cash and have him return to your home and give you the money". Why on earth would he ask me how he can make me happy after trying to give me burned wing dings and not accept what I had to say?? Not only is this pizzeria's food horrible (the pizza was also bad, and the crust tasted stale), but the customer service is also terrible. Expensive food that even dogs would probably not eat!
