The Herr Foods started as a small potato chip company in Lancaster, Pa. Established in 1946, the company has a stock of more than 340 items, including potato chips, pretzels, tortilla chips, cheese curls, popcorn, crackers, nuts, pork rinds, onion rings and meat sticks available in a variety of shapes, sizes and flavors. It offers food items on several private and corporate parties. The Herr Foods provides appetizers, entrees, desserts and snacks recipes. Its production facility occupies an area of more than 21,000 square-feet. The company has a staff of over 1,000 trained and certified professionals. The Herr Foods stores offer gift items for residential and commercial customers. It designs and provides financial support to more than 1,000 organizations, such as the American Cancer Society, Children s Hospital of Philadelphia and Lighthouse Youth Center.
