Local Old Fashioned Butcher Shop/Corner Grocery Store which in addition to canned good, pasta products, paper goods and such, also handles a plentiful variety of frozen goods and Luncheon/Deli Meats. Owner and staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive to customer requests. They really listened to what I needed and we have been coming back for years even after we moved to the "Burbs". You may get the products at the local Supermarket but the atmosphere and quality are what bring us back. Some of our fellow Suburbanites have been going there as well upon our recommendations. I believe they even wholesale their products to other restaurants and business' within the tri state area so you already may have had that same great experience as did my family and I. Check them out at 10th and Mercy Street just above Snyder Avenue in South Philadelphia.
