Auto Auction

I bought a car from this company from an Internet ad two weeks ago.
Sight unseen & 800 miles away from me. Immediately after sending a deposit I thought, "What have I done?" and spent a good deal of time on the phone with their sales manager Frank Rossi. He kept assuring me that everything was OK and I'd be satisfied. He told me the car had high miles (I already knew that ) and that the leather upholstery was worn. My response was, "Of course, what else would he say!"
However…, when the car arrived from the shipper it was exactly as promised, actually better than expected. The temp tag arrived quickly by priority mail, the title followed within a few days. Constant email & phone conversations with Mr. Rossi so lines of communication were excellent.
Bottom line: I'm more than satisfied with the way this company does business. No misrepresentations, timely follow up and all around a pleasant experience.
I have seen a number of horrifying negative reviews regarding this auction and Frank Rossi personally. I don't understand these people. It's as if they dealt with a whole other business or, more likely, didn't communicate. My experience with the company has been entirely positive. They're an auction site. They sell used vehicles that for one reason or another dealerships sell to them. (Generally high mileage.) If you want a vehicle with nothing wrong, buy new for $40-50K. Otherwise, pay attention, pick out something good and COMMUNICATE with the sellers. I got a car that would have been at least $5000 more - even with the mileage - elsewhere. If I put $500 into fixing minor items I'm still way ahead. Stop complaining!!!

My Girlfriend and I are 53 old disabled adults. My girlfriend goes through Kidney Dialysis 3 times a week and I have a Brain Aneurism which Junior and Frank were made aware of. We bought a 2005 Dodge Dakota about 2 Months ago. I spoke with Junior, if that’s his real name?? He said he would take $3500 cash for the truck the day we spoke. When we got there we asked to drive the truck and he stated just in the parking lot, said they didn’t have a dealer tag to let us take it on the road?? We were told the Truck was 100%... this seemed to be Junior’s favorite line! He took us over to Frank whom I guess handles the paperwork and he tacked on almost another $700 in BS Fees. We’ve had the truck over 2 months now and it’s been in the shop over a month now. We are in over $1000 and just found out today the transmission was bad. When we 1st brought to our mechanic he changed the transmission selinoid. The truck stays in 1st gear on the highway and does not shift properly. I brought the truck back in to my mechanic last week and he flushed the transmission fluid and filter and still was not shifting correctly. I brought it back today and said the transmission is bad and it would be about $2500 to install a used transmission! Junior and Frank are 2 theives... scammers and liers... Junior has Silver hair and about mid 60’s to early 70’s... Frank has dark hair with a fake Russian Accent about 50 years old. Do not do business with these people or this so called Car Lot/Auction!! *** DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM US AUTO AUCTION ***
