Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as language and fine arts, social studies, science, physical education, mathematics and computers. The school s subjects also include foreign languages, health education and social sciences. It has a media center and offers psychological counseling and academic consultation services. The sports activities provided by the school include basketball, cheerleading, softball, volleyball, football, wrestling and track. The school also offers various extracurricular activities that include yearbook, art shows, chorus, band and orchestra. The school is a part of the Penn Yan Central School District and is located in Penn Yan, N.Y.

        Very poor leadership

        This school believes that middle school students are adults and no longer require the guidance to prepare them for life. Because of this belief the students do not get the benefit of learning from their mistakes. The teachers are kind and caring but their hands are tied by the belief system of the administration.
