I loved this place. It was nothing i expected . There was another floor and it was a calming area. You had no choice but to relax once you signed your name. Iwas told they did birthday and wedding parties which was great to here due to my wedding coming in 6months. All the women were very nice. Iplan on making appointments for a group of my girlfriends for a ladies day out. It was worth the visit

Me and my bff have been trying to get an appt for two months. We finally got in on a sat afternoon. The place was nice n friendly. We both loved our nails n toes. We had a great experience

Me and my wife had a great experience at this salon. We felt welcomed and enjoyed our services. After a long day at work we needed some time to relax. My favorite was the facial, very soothing and mind clearing. My wife likes to get her foot massaged so of course she enjoyed the pedicure. You hit or miss with new places but this was a hit so we already got our date and time for two weeks .

I went to the salon for a mani/pedi and it was very nice. I didn't expect the salon to be as big as it was. All the ladies were very nice . There were two ladies working upstairs and i waited less than 5 min before someone told me to come over. The girl who did my mani/pedi was very socialable and loved her job. I was pleased of how she informed me of different things i could do to maintain my nails at home. My experience was great and i never had good service, conversation and good timing.

Purchased a GROUPON N I LOVED EVERY MINUTE @ taketyme salon:) I purchased a mani/pedi/facial... n the massage for each was truly relaxing!!! I have been to many salons/spas to get these same services, N I WOULD surely rate Take Tyme Salon in the top 5:) Groupon has not let me down yet!!!

Got a mani/pedi/facial package through Groupon, had a horrible experience. The lady who helped me was very friendly but the mani and pedi had hardly any massage to it like i would have expected from a regular mani/pedi service. IT's just a quick one minute lotioning. The same girl took me to a private room for a facial. I had to use my hand to shake down the table cloth since it covered in hair. i should have walked out at that moment but I thought i should give this girl a chance. No question about my skin type like previous people mentioned, she put some oily stuff on my face and massage my face for 13 minutes (thought it's half an hour massage as the Groupon stated) and told me that my massage was complete. I felt like being ribbed off even for the price i paid through Groupon. They should have used this opportunity to advertise their place instead of scaring them away. Will be calling Groupon to get a refund or even to just complain

Horrifically awful experience. I had a Groupon for a mani/pedi/facial and was really excited to try a new place. NEVER GO THERE! From the minute we walked in the staff was unprofessional. The teenager they have answering the phones and greeting customers has some growing up to do. I had another friend call to see if they had an appointment for a pedi around the same time as mine and the girl's attitude was atrocious. Like the other reviewer the water for my pedi was scalding hot but then was lukewarm-cold after the pedicurist "fixed" it. I also sat with my feet soaking for > 30 minutes because they only had one person doing ALL THREE services (and there were 2 of us)! The foot massage was almost nonexistent, no scrubbing, not even any product put into the soaking water. The polish job was fair but not what I would call professional. The manicure was on par with what you'd expect from a child. The shaping and filing was extremely sloppy and the polish job was certainly nothing special. There was NO hand massage at all- not even a little lotion rub. As for the facial, I'm still angry. As someone with sensitive skin I expect to be asked what kinds of products are okay to use on my face. She asked nothing and just started smearing the oily goo all over followed by a harsh scrub with such a strong odor that my eyes started burning. When it was over she just started cleaning up, saying, "Your facial is complete" and then just walking out of the room. Through it all this woman was certainly not very friendly and couldn't have looked less happy to be there. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day but judging by the other reviews I'm thinking that this might just be the general attitude of the establishment. Anyway, I called Groupon and got a refund and I must say, the woman I spoke to at Groupon provided EXCELLENT customer service. I think the ladies at Take Tyme could learn something from her.

My sister took me for the mani/pedi/facial groupon as a birthday gift. The experience sounds similar to the other review. There was only one person for the two of us (we had scheduled the apt days previous) for all 3 of the services. The nail job was sloppy - I honestly believe a toddler could do a better job. Paint was on my skin all around my toenails, there was a massage that lasted less than a minute during the pedi, and the coat wasn't even. If I could attach a picture I would! My sister got her facial while my nails dried - they didn't ask her any questions or assess her skin type. They simply put oil (on someone who has already oily skin) on her face and when they were finished she just stood up and left the room, leaving my sister to wonder what was going on. I decided not to even get my facial since I know I would breakout horribly from the oil. I called groupon within minutes of leaving the store to ask for a refund. Don't go here I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

I purchased a Groupon for a mani-pedi. When I first called to make an appointment, an adolescent girl picked up and could not explain clearly whether or not I even needed to make an appointment. The next day I called back, spoke to the same young girl again, I make an appointment for myself along with a friend to get a pedicure. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome and were lead to the upstairs nail salon. We waited for about 20 minutes before the started on my friend's pedicure. I was told to sit at a manicure table and soak my nails while I was waiting. This lasted about a half hour before someone (who I doubt was even licensed) started on my manicure. She tore up my cuticles with a dull clipper and did the worst paint job on my nails I have ever had. I think my 4 year old niece could have done better. After that was over, my pedicure began with scalding hot water. My feet were barely scrubbed, my nails and cuticles were not groomed, and the polish job was terrible. The polish was so old and goopy, it never even dried after 3 hours and I ended up removing it once I got home. I will NEVER go back and will be calling Groupon for a refund.

i have been a client of this salon for the last four years. I have always been pleased with my hair and the atmosphere. The prices r very reasonable and affordable.. From my understanding the owner contributes back to the community often and is very humble, professional individual.. Furthermore, what salon in baltimore county can u go to n get HIGHLIGHTS FOR $25.00.... There is none n if there was i would not go..

My 15 year old daughter worked very hard to save her money for a make over. She walked into Take Tyme and was told she could get highlights for 25.00. When we went in to get it done I confirmed the price before she started. The stylist confirmed the 25.00 price. About half way through she came to me and said she was mistaken and the actual cost was 100.00 but since she made the mistake she would charge us only 60.00. I talked to the owner, explained how we were told twice 25.00 and she said she would work it out. Yeah, she worked it out to 50.00. She charged DOUBLE the quoted price. What's worse is she did this to a kid.



STAY AWAY!!!
