don't even go there . . . the doctor "wacko" thinks he can do everything and doesn't want you to go to any other doctor. he thinks VIP Urgent Care is a private medical center. Drive right on by and go have lunch.

I have taken my oldest daughter here twice. The first time the doctor told me that my daughter had fifth's disease when I knew she had hives. I asked if I could give her benedryl (she was only a year old at the time) and she said, "If you want to drug her to make her sleep, you can." Um...no...I don't want to drug my child. She refused to believe that my daughter had hives, didn't prescribe anything, and sent us on our way. The next morning we took her to our regular pediatrician and he confirmed the hives, gave us the proper dosage of benedryl and she was fine in 5 days. So, one bad experience wasn't enough I thought I'd give them another shot. Now she's 3 years old and has come down with a cold which has made it hard for her to breathe at night. As in, we had to take her into the bathroom with the hot shower on so the steam could help her breathe. The doctor ignored that fact, no matter how much we repeated it and simply said, "It's not the season for croup or bronchitis" and prescribed Robitussin saying that she's close enough to 4 years old so it should be alright. Needless to say, we didn't pick up the prescription and have now felt like we've wasted our money twice trusting them with our daughter's health. Never again.
