Thacker Mountain Lodge is located 2½ miles from the Ole Miss Baseball field off of Old Taylor Road in Oxford, MS. The Lodge was formed in 2006 as a getaway to be used for relaxing and hanging out. It is used to continue the ?Grove Party? after the Ole Miss Rebel home football games. It is only a short drive from the Grove and makes a great place to party or just relax after the game. Many people book Thacker Mountain Lodge to stay at while they are watching the Ole Miss baseball, basketball, football games or other activities that Ole Miss has to offer. Thacker Mountain Lodge has been used during the Double Decker festival and for Rush week. The Lodge is offered for private fraternity and sorority functions. Campus Crusade for Christ uses it as well and plans are in the making for Thacker Mountain Radio to offer some remotes here. The generous deck area makes it perfect for live band functions and the outdoor lighting accents the functions. The Thacker Mountain Lodge offers sleeping for 8 adults and roll aways for children.If you want a private hunting or fishing experience, Thacker Mountain Lodge also offers the best of Quality Whitetail deer hunting, guided hunts both for rifle and archery, Turkey Hunting Guided trips and Duck Hunting Guided hunts, that include callers and a dog are also offered. We cater to small groups and the most we will carry is 8 hunters.
