We really enjoyed having dinner here. It's in a historic building downtown and has convenient parking out front. The menu goes beyond the usual pasta dishes and includes great selections like chicken marsala, shrimp diavlo, and chicken pomodoro. It's all homemade and served in a quiet, romantic atmosphere. And the service was excellent.

I will never eat there again. It was the worst food I have had in a long while. Just nasty I ordered chicken masala no flavor breaded chicken that was soggy. My friend had chicken outcasts which was also gross waitress said they were the most requested items on the menu. Very disappointed love to try new places but this was a huge overpriced disappointment.I will not recommend this to anyone.

We were on vacation and are from Ca. My husband is Italian and we were hungry for Italian as we came from Texas and Oklahoma and had been eating a lot of BBQ and Mexican. This place was perfect! I had a half order of the pasta sampler. It was a perfect size. The best was the meat lasagna. My husband had the sliced Italian Sausage appetizer and it was good too! The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed it!

Was seated upstairs and it was HOT. We sweat through our entire meal. Ordered salads - which did NOT come- and the kids chicken fett only had 3 nickel size pieces. The server kept asking if we needed anything; however never brought the items we suggested. We will not be returning. I would rather drive to Olathe and get good food and service.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Ottawa needed a nice restaurant. This beats Olive Garden (& that says a lot right there for us!) The bread is to die for! The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I love the atmosphere! We went a couple of days after it opened about a month ago (before Memorial Day) & have been back now 4 times (@ this writing June 13th) & plan on many more! Not expensive; priced right for the amount of food you get. They are very generous with the helpings (you get enough for leftovers which are just as good as fresh- although a note on the bread as leftovers not as good.) LOT's of authentic Italian menu options! I have decided each time I go I will go down the menu & try each menu item. I have not been dis-appointed on any of my choices thus far. Upon ordering a Stromboli there were a couple of ingredients I don't' care for & asked if they could eliminate them - they were very accommodating! Everything is on the spot handmade; nothing is already cooked in bags. We found out there are 15 total restaurants thus far - hope more are planned - they will give Olive Garden a run for their money! Go & enjoy; don't rush; enjoy your meal @ this restaurant! Awesome!

Absolutely delicious! My son and I were in Ottawa on a college visit and wanted to eat at a local restaurant. There wasn't a lot of choices but saw this quaint restaurant with linen table cloths (nice touch). We had fresh warm bread w/ garlic olive oil (omg, so good), the lasagna and chicken Parmesan........all homemade and delicious! The tiramisu, also homemade, was fabulous! Service was great! Reminded me of my trip to Italy as i overheard the owners speaking Italian in the kitchen. Only thing missing was a glass of red wine to go my great meal. Apparently, waiting on their liquor license.......hurry up!

We have eaten at numerous Italian Restaurants in Kansas, hands down, best one. This family knows how to cook, and treat their guests. We will be back! :-)

Went on opening night. Ordered Luigi Special. Excellent food, for excellent price. Kids menu is $4.95. Definitely will be a weekly stop for me.
