Dr. Christensen joined Dr. Baldwin in 1974. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He has held numerous offices in professional organizations including President of the Oklahoma Optometric Association, President of the Heart of America Contact Lens Societ y, Program Chairman for the Heart of America Contact Lens Society, and Program Chairman for the American Optometric Contact Lens Section. Dr. Christensen has become well known as an author and lecturer in the areas of pathology, primary care optometry, contact lens care, and practice management. He has served as Equipment Review Editor for Optometric Economics. He co-authored the book RX for Success. He was named “Optometrist of the Year” in 1995, by the Heart of America Contact Lens Society (representing a 7 state region). He was named “Optometrist of the Year” in 1997, by the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. In 2000, Optometric Management named him one of the “Top 10 ODs of the Decade”. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometrists and has earned Diplomate status in the Cornea and Contact Lens Section.
