I had a good experience the first time I called them out in March for a warranty repair on a hot water tank. Cary coordinated it and handled it. They came out fast and put on the warranty replacement part after we called tech support the previous days and got part delivered for install.
I can't remember the try guys names, but they were friendly and personable. We were having a leak issue on the tank as well and the manufacturer noted it in comments that it was eligible to replace under warranty. The guys knew it would be a possible tank replacement under warranty.
... Well fast forward a couple weeks. I called them back and Cary wasn't in the office and Guy answered the phone. I asked to speak with Cary since he was familiar with my situation. He wasn't in and I asked him to take a message and have him call me back. He then turned short. I explained I had warranty work of replacing a tank from the previous month. The manufacturer was wanting to know an estimate of cost to change out. He wouldn't give me one and I asked again and he raised his voice and said at least $900 labor. I was floored on the amount for labor only. I explained I need to get an estimate for labor and they were only authorized to give $250 without getting higher authorization. Guy seemed to be hot heated and hung up on me. I tried to call back immediately and he wouldn't answer. I called from my boyfriend's number and he answered and agreed he hung up and said said the "conversation was over" when I told him I was to get an amount and they were authorized to give $250 without to send up for higher approval. It was a very ugly conversation. I asked him again to have Cary call me. I also emailed Cary which he never returned none of my calls or emails.
I thought good of this company and was looking for a new plumbing company for our property management service calls, but with Guys hothead changed my whole perspective of this company.
