Gail's Diner

I was not pleased with the visit my wife and I had today. We ordered the light weight and the heavy weight pancake meals. We waited for thirty minutes before we received the excuse from the waitress about "the kitchen misplacing our order". She wanted take our order again, since she didn't know what we ordered. I declined and said we are leaving. We then went to the waffle house to enjoy our belated breakfast.

Here's my take on everything. We ordered our food. I noticed a young couple got up and went to the back side of the restaurant where there are more tables and seats back there. The waitress had the bus boy clear their table since they weren't at the table any more. Upon the young couples return. They mentioned they weren't done with thier plates. (Which I saw the bus boy clear off and the only thing left on one of the plates were eggs.) The young coupled explain the contents of what was left on their plates, I know this because the waitress came back a few minutes later with a small bowl of eggs and another small bowl of potatoes. Shortly after that the waitress brought the young couple a light weight and heavy weight plates (she announced it to them before she laid the plates on their table). I sat there and saw all of this and thought "that's our meal!" The young couple then ordered another plate of food. Which came out fairly quick.
My wife and I just sat there waiting patiently and I'm observing all of this while we were being neglected.
The waitress went back to the counter area and finally looked our way. She then went to the order window and then approached our table to give us "the excuse". My wife began to reorder and I declined to allow the waitress to write our order down, since I had enough. We left hungry and annoyed.
