I have no idea how this place has such sterling reviews, but I regret listening to them and taking my puppy here. First, expect at least a half hour wait to even be seen - a routine puppy check-up took 2 hours to complete. Second, because I'm a younger dog-owner, i was spoken to like a first-grader and received a 20-minute lecture on every possible thing that could go wrong with my dog. Worst of all, this place is disgusting. The waiting room is unclean, the place reeks and there were no fewer than 10 random dogs running wild around the office, barking at other pets receiving treatment. What the hell? I also found the services over-priced and felt I was being upsold on unnecessary procedures. Sure, the vet is knowledgable, but this place certainly isn't worth the headache.

The best. She personally treats like it was her own. Would not go anywhere else for routine care. Highly Recommend!

I would not take my pet anywhere else. Dr. Harrington is the best. She is very caring and is an expert in her field. Much Recommended.

When my 13 year old 117 lb German shepherd who could no longer walk and was riddled with cancer ONLY NANCY HARRINGTON who was not even our vet then, would come to the house. She came on a Sunday, when she was sick (she was so sick she missed work that Monday) to put him down humanely when he suddenly took a turn for the worse. She came to my home, she was wonderful and kind. Our regular vet would not do that and I did not want to drag him in his last moments to a strange place to meet the end. She is THERE, she CARES, and she knows what she is doing. She works with Wildcare to help injured wild animals, she was instrumental in Second Chance, and I later learned she saved my neighbor's friends dog from cancer. She is flexible (for example for a new pup, she'll come out to the car to vaccinate to avoid possible exposure)-other vets won't, She answers emergency calls 24/7. I can't say enough good about this lady vet. She epitomizes what a vet should be.

FANTASTIC

I have used and known Nancy and her staff for a few years. All I can say is they care and give exceptional health care to all of my "kids". I have made regular appointments, I have had to call on an emergency basis at 7p.m., 1a.m., 3a.m. 5a.m. and have always had my beloved animals cared for. It is the only pet hospital I know of that is staffed approx 20 hours a day!!!!! I Trust her with my babies, and if she could treat me, well........I'd let her. She's one smart lady, and her staff is the excetion to the rule!

What can I say, Nancy and her staff are THE BEST!!!!!! I have had to call day and night, and they are always there. It is the only place I know of that has someone there 20-21 hours a day, they don't just leave their animals for 12+ hours to fend for themselves because their day is over. I have called Nancy at all hours of the morning, and she has ALWAYS met me and cared for my "babies". I agree, it's no frills, but the last place I paid for frills was $1200 for 2 dogs to have their teeth cleaned, talk about outrageous. Nancy has had to help several of my "kids" over the bridge, she and her staff have nothing but the utmost respect for their clients and their patients. YOU ARE # 1!!!!!! And THANK YOU! not only for what you do for me, but what you do for the community with second chance, the animal shelter, and caring for all of those strays that are brought to you that you care for because you truly are a Veteranarian because you LOVE animals! Thank you!

I would like to praise Dr. Harrington and her staff for their caring suppot for me and my pet. My older cocker spaniel was suffering with seizures and Dr. Harrington kept working with her to get her on a medication that finally brought the seizures under control. I mean, you can call Nancy anytime of the day or night and she will help your pet with it's problems. I would like to thank her for all her years of compassionate care of all the animals that come thru her clinic. She is a great lady and so very knowledgeable about her field. She may not have the fancy clinic that others have but her knowledge and care make up for the lack of all of the outer frills. That's not what counts. I took my pet to Rose Rock on SW 24th when she was seizing so bad and they were absolutely no help. When I finally got in to see a Dr. - he was very uncaring and offered no support or other help as far as what I needed to do. So, give Dr. Harrington a call and find out for youself about her.
