        Last ate here in 2002. First customers of the day. Garlic mashed potatoes were cold and rubbery. Steaks were gray in the middle and lukewarm. The host came back with a story about how some cold marinade juice got splashed on the food. I've never been impressed with their food before that episode either. Have never been back to the Nixa or any Applebees since that time.

        The owner badmouths ex-employees that leave because she treats them horribly. She also likes to spread lies about them to customers.

        A local favorite of mine

        Really appreciate their Weight Watchers items. If a sandwich is ordered, from another menu section, they can put it on the wheat buns from the Weight Watchers section. This certainly helps diabetics and others who should not eat white bread or buns. The wait staff is friendly and efficient.
