        American History High School offers classes in English, math, science and social studies to students in grades 9 through 12. The school employs a technology coordinator, media specialist, guidance counselor, nurse and classroom teachers. Its curriculum also includes Spanish, creative writing, computer science, and health and physical education. American History High School offers membership for art, drama and history clubs. The school s Without Walls Academic Trip Program organizes trips to historical exhibits within the Tri-State area. Its computer labs serve as historical research centers that foster the examination and interpretation of rare historical documents and photographs. Located in Newark, N.J., American History High School is a part of Newark Public Schools.

        Its a realy small school. With a 1:15 ratio teacher to student. The school only holds about 250 students . Its a magnet school and one of the highest ranked schools in NewJersey. I highly recomend getting an application to maby if chosen come to American History High and further your education.
