Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center was established in 1966 and provides a variety of educational and training services. Located in New York City, it provides free academic and vocational training for educationally and economically disadvantaged students. The center offers various counseling and job placement programs and is approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the training of veterans. It offers a wide variety of academic programs, including college readiness, general education development preparation and English as a second language. The center offers various job training programs, including office assistance, Microsoft Office specialist preparation, network technician, and global trade and export studies. Additionally, it provides online application facilities.
